This segment begins with David and Sarah asleep in bed when the speaker in the room announces that the men are needed at the front gate, and to come prepared for battle.
 Instantly David is up. He gets ready to go while he tells Sarah to stay inside, lock the doors, shut the curtains and stay safe.
 Although Sarah tries to dissuade him from going, David is able to escape her grasp during their first passionate kiss. Afterwards he runs out of the room he looks back and hopes that this will not be last time he sees his Sarah.

 At the castle's front gate is a group of angry Half-Bloods led by the eldest man among them.
 When David makes his appearance, the eldest speaks for the crowd and demands that David step down from the throne and his role as the Crown Prince on account of the break-in last night.
 Although David promises that no such thing will happen again, the Elder yells that David's promise will not be enough to satisfy the angry crowd.

On to the story, full-blooded humans without magical powers (normal humans) have pretty much lost their minds at this point. Like moths to a flame, they were compelled towards the invisible castle last night. When there was a sufficient amount of them, the castle's barrier broke. The goal for this group of humans was to destroy Diver, the unredeemed, by midnight. Thanks to this group of humans, the Half-Bloods living near the castle now know of the Royal Family's presence there.
